| Allbairns Babysitters has been established for over 20 years, starting out under the name Essential
Home Services in 1991. It has a proven track record with a huge depth of experience of finding the right babysitter for each individual client.
It is successfully run by Louise Robinson and Nikki Tebbutt who both genuinely care about offering a first class service. Louise, who is a Mum
with older children now, has been an owner/director of Allbairns since 2002 and Nikki, who has over eight years of babysitting experience with
the company, joined as a director in April 2011. The agency has established an excellent reputation and has grown mostly through the recommendation of one parent to another. Louise and Nikki have great experience of providing babysitters for families of all sizes and ages – many parents have stayed with Allbairns Babysitters from the time their children are babies until they are well into their teens. Babysitters also tend to stay with the service for many years and there are now around one hundred and fifty covering South Buckinghamshire, North West Hertfordshire and a few other areas (click here for coverage). |
| Meeting the Needs of Busy Parents |
| Allbairns Babysitters aims to take the worry of finding babysitters away from busy parents by providing an
efficient and comprehensive service. Louise and Nikki feel it is important to match each individual family’s needs with a suitable babysitter
and work hard to provide a service that is friendly and efficient by using their years of experience and local knowledge. They are well aware of the concerns of other parents when it comes to finding the right person to look after their children while
they go out. Allbairns endeavours to find people who will be responsible and reliable and all are expected to provide their own transport to and from your home, so you won't have to go out again after a pleasant evening to take them home. Babysitters come from a wide variety of backgrounds including teachers, nursery nurses, registered childminders, office workers, caterers and hairdressers. We look for people who are friendly, kind and relate well to children, most are mothers and there are many active grandmothers and some younger babysitters (age 18 plus) as well. We check references for all new babysitters and meet them for an informal interview and they all have an Enhanced Disclosure from the Criminal Records Bureau. |
| Comprehensive and Flexible Service |
| You can leave us a message or make a booking 7 days a week, 24-hours a day, either by phoning our voicemail service, by emailing or via the Bookings and Contact pages on this website. A text service is now also available. While most bookings are for the evening, we do have a small number of babysitters who are available to work during the day and some who are willing to stay overnight, for weekends or short breaks. We are a dedicated babysitting service and do not offer permanent nannies or mother’s helps, however, we do have babysitters who are prepared to look after your house, plants and pets while you are away or wait in your house for tradesmen to call.
